Ronda Pearce has worked extensively throughout her career with people in crisis. A significant part of that time has been within the Criminal Justice area where she has worked in Social Work and in Management.
Ronda has been delivering the Mental Health First Aid program as an Accredited Instructor since 2004 and is accredited to deliver both the Adult and Youth programs.
Ronda’s qualifications include:
- Mental Health First Aid (Adult and Youth) Master Instructor*
- Associate Diploma in Social Work;
- Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management;
- Train the Trainer, Competency Standards; and
- National Police Certificate.
As a program instructor, Ronda has witnessed first hand the benefits that it brings to workplace attitudes and performance, and to personal growth. Her strong belief in the Mental Health First Aid program and her desire to increase community knowledge, awareness and understanding of Mental Health issues is the basis for her commitment to delivering the program.
* The Master Instructor designation is awarded on the successful delivery of 30 complete Mental Health First Aid programs.
