Here’s Deb’s personal commendation of Mental Health First Aid training:
“If a Mental Health First Aid training course had been around in the 1970s I am sure it would have saved me from spending much of my adult life depressed (at least until 2000 when I was finally diagnosed with clinical depression and successfully treated by a GP). It would have also saved me a great deal of misery; possibly a diverted career; and perhaps even a number of shattered personal relationships. I truly believe, and know to be so, that this course has the power to save many people in our community from a similar fate such was mine.” Deb Selway, 2008
